Physical Therapist

Before earning his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Sacramento State University, Josh spent a decade working with nationally ranked youth climbers as a coach and 12 years as a routesetter creating climbs for the community. In addition to his doctoral training in Physical Therapy, Josh collaborates with climbing physical therapists across the country to provide injury prevention education to the climbing community.

Through years of dedicated pursuits in the mountains, Josh brings important insight and understanding of movement patterns and demands of outdoor activities. Combining his passion for the mountains with his coaching and dedication to movement based medicine, Josh strives to provide focussed, collaborative, and effective treatment plans to guide you back to the activities that inspire you to live your fullest life.

When not in the clinic, you’ll likely find Josh doing some human powered travel through the mountains. Whether climbing, skiing, biking, or whitewater kayaking you’ll find Josh stoked to be out enjoying what mother nature has to offer and enjoying it with his wife.
