NICK WARD, MS, BS

Performance Coach

Nick earned his bachelor's degree in sport science at the University of Northumbria and has a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology and Functional Fitness from the University of Calgary, Canada. Nick's purpose is to support the health and performance of people who engage in and push themselves in athletic endeavors. Over his career, Nick has worked with professional soccer, cricket, and rugby players, youth athletes, and Olympic and Paralympic skiing.

After moving to Tahoe in 2016, he served as the ALTIS Director for Performance at Barton Performance.  In this role, he also worked with the US Ski and Snowboard Team. The program he helped build served over 400 locals in preparing them or returning them to their mountain activities.  Little would he know then that come 2022 he would reunite with Jason, Ian, Angie, and Justin at PT Revolution

Nick also serves as the ALTIS Programs Director, where he coordinates the ALTIS Mentorship Program to develop coaches from all over the world. He also provides online and coaching programs privately to high-performing athletes both locally and internationally.

Nick and his wife, Susan, have put down firm roots in South Lake Tahoe. While they miss family in the UK, Tahoe provides the perfect destination for their oldest son Jack, daughter-in-law Olivia, and Grandson son Lewis to visit and enjoy the outdoor lifestyle. They enjoy running, hiking and cross-country skiing, and a glass or two! Their youngest son Ethan attended South Tahoe high and is a Bio major at CalPoly in San Luis Obispo.
