Doctor of Physical Therapy
US Ski and Snowboard Team Physical Therapist
Originally from Reno, Nevada, Harrison spent his summers and winters in Lake Tahoe, where he developed a lifelong passion for skiing and mountain sports. His love for athletics and sports medicine led him to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, after attending the University of Nevada, Reno.
Harrison completed a Sports Physical Therapy Residency at Howard Head Sports Medicine in Vail, Colorado, where he specialized in high-level athletic care and post-surgical rehabilitation.
Throughout his career, Harrison has worked with elite athletes and organizations, including the U.S. Ski Freestyle Halfpipe and Snowboard Slopestyle teams, U.S. Climbing, the Vail Yeti Hockey team, and athletes at the high school and collegiate levels. He remains an active member of the U.S. Ski teams' medical pool. His experience collaborating with world-renowned orthopedic surgeons at The Steadman Clinic has also given him extensive expertise in advanced post-surgical rehabilitation and helping athletes safely return to peak performance.
Harrison believes physical therapy should be as individualized and dynamic as the sports his patients love. He takes a personalized approach to treatment, tailoring rehabilitation to each patient's goals and the physical demands of their activities.
Outside the clinic, you'll find Harrison skiing all winter long and spending his summers paddleboarding, hiking, mountain biking, or occasionally hitting golf balls into local ponds and vegetation.
