Justin Dorn

  • Physical Therapist
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy
  • US Ski & Snowboard Team Physical Therapist
  • EMT-B

After spending eight years as a ski patroller at Sierra-at-Tahoe and embracing the Tahoe lifestyle, Justin followed his passion for movement-based medicine and earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Chapman University.

Throughout his career, Justin has worked in performance-based facilities where he developed an approach that blends physical therapy with performance coaching. His philosophy is simple: identify the movement dysfunctions holding people back, address them through hands-on treatment and corrective exercise, and help people get back outside doing what they love.

Justin is one of the founders of PT Revolution and is especially proud of what the practice has grown into. More than just a place for physical therapy and performance, PT Revolution has become a community built around great people, a supportive environment, and strong connections throughout the Tahoe area. Creating a culture where patients, athletes, staff, and the broader community feel at home has been one of the most rewarding parts of the journey.

Of course, Justin isn't the most recognizable member of the PT Revolution team. That title belongs to Echo, his dog and PT Revolution's resident therapy dog and mascot. At this point, Justin has accepted that he's basically just Echo's handler—and that considerably more people around town know her name than his.

When he's not at PT Revolution (or living in Echo's shadow), Justin can usually be found somewhere in the mountains. In the summer and fall, he's mountain biking or hiking, and when the snow starts flying, there's a good chance he's on a skin track searching for fresh turns on his splitboard.
